3rd Week of Jan

Oh my! My Jan' is almost end!

"Time and tide wait for no man"..and women. Well, it has been three weeks after new year. For me, those three weeks have been alright. Aside from my flying career almost everyday, I finally have sometime to list my new year resolutions, plan my winter trip to Japan, reading good fashion book(and Style.com Print),write some cards to my friends, join Fashion Hyper ,and of course dress up myself with my beloved clothes.

Besides, my Intiz'Journal turned 6 years old. I was really happy about my fashion journey. I'm planning to do some "give away" for my readers who follow my blog for years, so please stay tuned for the fabulous freebies.

Well, how about you guys? Like I said time flies super fast, don't forget to do what you love, and be happy about what around you.

Galliano's Debut

Maison Martin Margiela by John Galliano

I didn't write a runway review for a long time here, but yesterday was one of the important day of fashion history. The come back of John Galliano and his new "maison" as the creative director at Maison Martin Margiela. The entire collection is not the "boom boom pow!" way as Galliano's shows in his fabulous past, but more Margiela's minimalism way.So, I chose my favorite look from this couture collection to remember the day.

IN the Jean Paul Gaultier Moment

Bonjour Monsieur JPG

Once in a life time I just wish that I could go to see one of my favorite designer show or collections somewhere in the world. Actually, I like almost all of them from A-Zac Posen. In early of December, I finally have a 'great' chance to see one, and the best part is, it's Jean Paul Gaultier, the number one of my favorite designer.

The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk start showing in Melbourne at The National Gallery of Victoria during mid-October while I was somewhere in Sydney. I realized there's JPG in the city when I saw the huge billboard on my way in Melbourne Airport while transiting to Sydney. I've heard about the exhibition when it was showing in New York. I told myself then that it's gonna be the first only thing I would do and see if I come back to the city. Finally, I made it.

The moment was like a fashion dream comes true for me because one, I only see JPG collections from Style.com since I was a teenager. Two, JPG will only produce haute couture collections (the new has announced during September last year),so it worth to see his previous ready to wear collections.

Besides,I totally agree to use the name of this exhibition as the fashion world. I didn't know that there's seven rooms for this exhibition (I was walking around the first room about two hours. I realized that it has another rooms when I tried to find the exit). Anyway, since you step into the exhibition hall there's fake Jean Paul Gaultier in 3D model speaking both English, and French. "Sue my clothes" he claimed if you don't understand his English accent. I love this part, and it take me quite awhile to capture it. The collections in those rooms (The Odyssey, The Boudoir,Punk Can Can, Skin Deep, Metropolis, Urban Jungle, and Muses) are beyond creativity, full of fantasy, extremely avant-garde, and incredible in his signature details. I've seen and learnt so much things from this. It was such a great moment, and I couldn't forget :)

Hope you enjoy JPG's Fashion world as I do, and if you have a chance to visit Melbourne. This is the one thing that you can't miss if you love fashion as me. The exhibition will show here until February 8, 2015. You shouldn't miss it ;)

See you next journal
